Moreover, after the production is completed, the accumulation of PE pipes should not be too kneaded or exposed to the sun, otherwise the amount of raw materials of PE plastic pipes will change due to oxidation induction.

In addition, the low temperature impact resistance of PE pipe is very good. The low-temperature embrittlement temperature of polyethylene is extremely low, and it can be used safely in the temperature range of -60-60 °C. During construction in winter, due to the good impact resistance of the material, pipe embrittlement will not occur, but do not think that the PE pipe can withstand high temperature. It is very wrong to use it as a hot water pipe at 60°C.

Any material will undergo physical changes under long-term overload work, and the pressure-bearing capacity of PE water supply pipes under high temperature conditions has a great change compared to the pressure-bearing capacity at 20 °C, that is to say, the pressure-bearing capacity of PE pipes decreased sharply with increasing temperature.

Therefore, backfilling must be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the national construction specifications during construction to avoid the influence of the environment (especially high temperature weather) on the temperature in the pipe, to ensure the smooth progress of the project acceptance, and to strictly follow the temperature reduction calculation during the pressure acceptance. pressure test.
